liz011 asked: It's true that Rose learned a lot from the Doctor, but he learned from her too. I always think of The Idiot's Lantern with his comment about "the domestic approach" because while he may have been teasing, he honestly would not have thought of that on his own, whereas I have a hard time thinking of any time Martha came up with something that surprised the Doctor. And obviously strengths are good to have, but being good at medicine is unnecessary when you already have a Doctor.
